Personal History

Ray is from everywhere, having been adopted as an infant then moving around with his family. He has lived all over the world, from Los Angelus to London to Tokyo to Boston and more. Because of the constant moving Ray has a hard time fitting in, moving just ss or just before making friends. Because of this he started studying Karate at the age of 7 and threw himself into it. He found it helped him calm his mind and deal with the lack of attachments. When Ray was a teenager he finally landed in San Francisco where his family finally stayed. He was a freshmen in high school when they hit San Francisco and the first thing he did was enter a martial arts tournament. He made it to the final round where he faced off against the hometown champion and they ended up fighting to a draw. After the match Ray was invited to hang out with his opponent and their friends, making his first real friends. Rays social anxiety nearly got to him more than once, making him doubt whether or not he really belonged with the group. However, as time went on he became more confident in the friendships he made. After high school Ray decided to head to college where he studied Earth history and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in history. During his time from high school through graduating college he kept up with tournaments. Towards the end of his senior college year a recruiter with Earth Patrol Force approached him and went through what they could offer him. This appealed to Ray and he entered the Academy upon his college graduation. He became known for never backing down from a fight, often continuing forward even as retreat was called in simulations. This has kept him out of leadership positions, although he also became known for never leaving his squad mates behind as well.
